Deacon Cyriaque Balla was ordained to the Priesthood this Saturday by Bishop Paul Andre. This is our third ordination in the last year (Fr. Sean Shallow, and Fr. Matthew Brunet were recently ordained). When I have a bit more time, I will post more information on Fr. Cyriaque. Congratulation Fr. Cyriaque, may the Lord bless you and guide you in your service as priest.

I spent a wonderful month at the cottage this July. It was a time for reading, walking, swimming, gardening, and family. My Dad celebrated his 90th Birthday during July, so my 2 brothers and sister and some of their family members celebrated at my Parent’s home in Monreal. (see photo). Most of the time, however, we spent at the cottage. The only real downside to the month was all the frightening thunder storms, and the loss of power, water, and telephone for two days.
