The Sorry Plight of Mideast Christians

While staying at Tantur one summer (an ecumenical centre situated between Jerusalem and Bethlehem), an Arab Christian taxi driver lamented his plight to me. “It is not easy being an Arab and a Christian in the mideast, even in Israel. We are a minority that no on cares about.” he sighed..This conversation took place about 25 years ago. I think things have improved for this Christian minority in Israel, if what I am able to discern on the internet reflects reality. But in many other sectors of the mideast the situation for the Christians has become much worse:  The forgotten Arab Christians | New York Post.
